Hate stormed into our neighbour’s house and so we fought back with love. We will not share the face of hatred, watch his video, or share his words. We will not remember his name. He will be forgotten.
We will remember the victims; the ones still with us and the ones who aren’t. We’ll share the love their family and friends have for them. We’ll remember who they are, say their names, and shed tears for their pain. For as long as they are remembered, they will never truly be gone.
We will share the stories of those who gave their lives to protect others, the ones who rushed in to help, those who stepped in to stop the evil, and those who have worked tirelessly to save the lives of all those they could. This is what we’ll remember.
.We are all the same underneath our outward appearances. Our blood and tears are all the same. We have all come from the same place. We all want our friends, family, and neighbours to be safe.
So let us all fight this hatred. Be nice to people. Show others that they are safe in our communities. Don’t allow hatred to breed. Smother it in love and let go of anger. We all matter and we are all loved.

A beautiful blog, thank you for sharing your words. I have writing more because of that is how I channel my sadness and hurt by this horrendous act. All we can do is put love out into the world and one day that will be the only thing that would come back.
